My Black Cat Turns Evil on Halloween
My kitty is the most docile cat in the world. He has the cutest Cheshire Cat Smile, but on Halloween, and this might have something to do with the witch sightings, he just doesn’t have patience for such things. (:

Ah. glad you like the photo, and thanks for visiting my blog!
Love that photo
Awesome
Thanks, Filipe!
Scary looking eyes!
Not evil – gorgeous! The slow blending into the different shaded of black is remarkable.
Ah, thanks, Cynthia. I’ll tell my kitty you think so. He’ll be back to his smiling ways in no time.
Thanks so much for your comment!
Happy Halloween Kitty Kitty, it’s your big day!!!!
Love this Katie!
LOL! Kitty will have a great Halloween, I’m sure!
Maybe the witches will be back for him this evening. He’d look great on a broomstick I think.
Thank so much, Charleen!
OMG that’s scary (sorry for saying that, but it is Halloween!). Great capture though, you have included almost everything here.
LOL! My kitty isn’t scary.
I tried to re-take the photo to get a better image, but nope, I couldn’t get it, as I couldn’t remember how I got him to look like that.
Adore you, Nadini!
I know she is not
But the picture surely is, hehehe.
Love that you see evil in the photo. Kitty is honored.

OH. MY. I LOVE
I have a new favorite!!!!!! I too have a black cat, he is 16 years old, his name is Vader (lol) but I should have named him Salem!!
LOL, Juanita! My kitty’s name is Grimm (Grimoire); i thought hard about naming him when I got him.
Vader is great name for a black kitty! Salem is great too. I may steal that for my next black kitty.
Glad you liked the photo!
Love it!
Thanks, Adrienne!

My neighbor has a black cat too. That cat is very friendly and always wants to be petted. There is definitely no bad luck for me.

COOL SHOT!! i like seeing pic where nice pets turn bad (just for the pic)
How did you shoot it?? From close range and the cat just stand still or from a bit distance?
Hi there, Thanks for visiting my blog!
I shot this with a telephoto lens (300mm) so not close up. He’s kind of looking down at me, so I’m going to guess he was sitting on his perch above my fireplace. Sorry I can’t be more specific, but it was taken in January, amongst a whole bunch of shots I was taking of him at the time.
thanks for explaining Kat
You’re so very welcome!
ah forgot to say, he is a handsome cat. I love black cat
I’ll let him know!
Hugs to Kame and Kroten.
Kitty would like them, I’m sure.
The best Halloween kittie ever!! What a wonderful picture
It’s those eyes , just like his mom’s
Wow! Perfect! We had a black cat when the kids were young, always had to hide it at Halloween, just in case some teen agers got an idea…
Yeah, good point, Doc. My kitty won’t be going outside any time soon! Glad you like the shot!

Thank you so much, Janie! And thanks for visiting my blog also.
Oh he is a beauty!!! Bombays have the best temperaments!
Thank you! He’s actually a British Shorthair cat (I can see with this shot, and his coat and eye coloring, how you might think he was a Bombay). I adore his laid back temperament.
Thanks for visiting my blog!
Menacing image.
Perfect, Stevie! Maybe he’d like to tag along with some of your zombies.:)
He has the same eyes as our black cat. And the same moody look he gets sometimes!
Wonderful! Maybe they’re related.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog and commenting.
LOL yep, I’m a black cat owner too and know what you mean. Full moons can be a dangerous time in the house too. He has great eyes!
I haven’t noticed my kitty acting different around full moons. I’m gong to pay more attention though. Every once in a while he just is a bit strange, so I should keep track! Love your Moochie kitty!

That cat is really scary – amazing image – well done
Ah, glad the you see the photo the way I did.
If you met him in real life, you’d be surprised on how he doesn’t look at all like that. It’s just the angle.

That is a beautiful kitty kitty!! I can tell he’s not really evil, unless it’s the around 4am and he has the need to pounce on your head just because he feels like it.
LOL! My kitty doesn’t pounce on my head – thankfully! Loved this fun comment, Shannon!
