So we did a stone human yesterday, so let’s keep going for another day. (:
When I took this image, I was just looking for an interesting shot of a tree that was shaped by human hands — lots of twists and turns that seemed like they might make a good photograph. I used the rule of thirds and thought I’d see what I’d get.
Little did I know that when I processed this image, I’d see this. 
”Ouch, that hurts!”

A previous owner of our property must have hammered an iron bar into the ground next to a young tree, because the mature tree trunk has enveloped the bar, almost obscuring it! See a picture at: http://thedailygraff.com/2011/07/01/and-he-moved-away-forty-years-ago/
The same owner must have lowered a discarded automobile tire over the top of a sapling, because the mature tree trunk almost reached the tire, and there was no way that the tire could be removed over the huge canopy.
I suspect a teenage boy (several decades ago) who used his back yard as a science lab.
