Autumn in New Mexico
Bob Zeller (his blog here) shows some gorgeous Texas scenery, and he has inspired me to show a bit of the natural environment around me in New Mexico.
I took this years ago on a paying job for a ranch that was being sold north of Santa Fe. The owner was just so wonderful as he drove me around showing me his favorite spots. It was one of the best times I’ve had being paid for photography, as he told me stories about legends and history, as well as showing me some gorgeous New Mexico landscape. π
Pictured here is the Ojo Caliente river with the Cottonwood trees in all their fall glory.
Taken with my Nikon 12-24 lens at f/16.
