Nice and Normal in an Interesting Way – Bird Bath

Here’s another Nice and Normal photograph. If you’d like, you can see the other images here.

This was taken at the end of October a couple blocks from my home. During the summer, this yard has lots of beautiful flowers, but in late October, most flowers are done. I saw this bird bath and thought I might be able to get an interesting photo, and this is the result.

Shot with my 105mm lens at f/3.0.

  17. Very nice Katie! It speaks to me of the fall time, of the season change and the upcoming rebirth in the spring (an empty bird bath will become full again). Love the reflection in the bottom of the bowl too!
