A Simple Pretty Flower for a Sunday – 16
Here’s the 16th installment of “A Simple Pretty Flower for a Sunday.” If you’d like, you can view all the earlier Sunday flower images/posts on this page.
Today we have a dahlia flower. To me, these flowers are all about the petals, and so I shot this photo to emphasize that. This was taken back in October when I was shooting those dahlias.
Hope you have a great Sunday!
Shot with my 105mm macro lens at f/4.0.

Agree, Dahlis are among the beautiful to photograph. When I had a flower garden (in Pennsylvania), I planted them for several years. But the bulbs had to be dug up every fall and replanted in the spring. Got to be a bit much, but they are a rewarding flower to grow. Love the angle on your shot Katie!

Great picture! Really love that you keep the saturation at a really good level. So many photographers use the saturation-button far too much these days! Great detail! Thanks! Hope you have a great start on your week!
