Ever had one of those days, weeks, months, years, lives?

Here’s to a 2012 that isn’t like that. (:

  1. I agree 2012 is starting off great – for me. 2011 was one of those years for me. Was so glad to see it end – it was a year I didn’t know whether I was coming or going. 2012 feels completely different – thank God.

    Nice treatment of the image.

    • So sorry that 2011 was one of those years for you, Mobius. I truly know how it goes, as I’ve had those times too. So glad 2012 is starting off differently! Glad you like the treatment of the image. It just felt like exactly how I was feeling that day. Thanks for the comment!

  2. In combination with ‘forbidden to make a u-turn’ this would be a deadlock šŸ˜‰

  3. Very nice treatment of the scene, indeed.

  4. Ever had? or how many do we have? everyone has some but hopefully we can do a U turn around and make it better.. šŸ™‚

Great photo… love the colours that you gave to this one šŸ™‚ excelent one.

    • Yep, hopefully we can make a U Turn to make things better! Love it, Filipe! And glad you like the way I processed it. It was just the way things were going, and it just felt right to do it that way. šŸ™‚

  5. Ha! What’s….

  6. I love how just three colors make the entire picture. Loved the textures provided by the tree and the straight lines by the sign. Beautiful and thoughtful, Katie. šŸ™‚

  7. lovely colours and a stunning photo Kate

  8. perfect depiction of life and it’s woes. Here’s to 2012!

  9. LOL…let’s hope it doesn’t take a nasty turn.

  10. Hehe! Yes, I too hope that 2012 isn’t one that makes me want to scurry backwards into 2011! Nice processing here too.

  11. Oh yes! But -as you say- 2012 won’t be like that! Lets make it the RIGHT way… Nice photo by the way. As dark as it ought to be!

  12. Love it!

  13. Hehe, I love road signs šŸ™‚ There’s certainly nothing WRONG with this picture šŸ˜‰ nice!

  14. So far this year.. no! Lets hope it stays that way.

  15. Fair warning! Don’t go there!!

  16. yes

  17. Now if that was in England it could just be the name of a road – because you get names like Appletree Way, or Fairfield Way etc. So you could actually be on the right road if you’re looking for ‘Wrong Way’!

  18. This is a really nice photo. The colours and the composition make the meaning of the words stronger. I would think twice before I went down that road.

  19. Oh yes! Yotaki Beautywalk

  20. lol! The end of 2011 was full of WRONG moments! : ) 2012 has so much promise – I’m with you in cheering for a year that’s not anything like that. Great shot, Katie! : )

  21. Turn Around Before It’s Too Late!! Avoid Being Wrong!! I Enjoy These type of pics!!

  22. Unfortunately I’ve had a week like it Katie !… too tired to wag now !

  23. Yes I think everyone has had times like that; the best thing to remember is that it will pass. Nice shot to illustrate the point! Cheers!

  24. Wow, this is so cool looking.

  25. Avoid this all together!!

  26. Very nice capture; soft color lines lead the eyes down the road, past the bad news and into Hope for better news tomorrow.

  27. unfortunately šŸ˜¦

  28. Nice shot of a good warning. Wouldn’t have worked on a happy spring day!

  29. Broody and moody!

  30. Very clever, i hope your day isn’t a wrong one šŸ™‚

  31. This is funny! I love it. Yes, I’ve had days like this…and this sign captures the feeling perfectly. Great shot Katie! šŸ™‚

  32. nice shot katie

  33. I’ve done this on a highway once, with my mother in-law in the car. As long as we don’t panic we can oftentimes steer ourselves in the right path. Great photo Katie!

  34. I’ve never seen such a sign yet, I didn’t know something like this existed šŸ˜€

  35. This made me smile!

    Loving your blog.

    Best
    Martyn
